DVS Control without Tonearm, Eliminating Needle Skipping in Digital Playback

No matter how hard you scratch, you’ll never experience needle skipping when using the PLX-CRSS12 in Digital Vinyl mode, thanks to the tonearmless system. The new MAGVEL CLAMP firmly holds the record in place when touched, allowing you to control digital music files directly, giving you the true vinyl feel without needing to use the tonearm. Playing on analog records will feel just like mixing on the famous PLX-1000 turntable.

Weight Adjustment According to Your Style

Find your ideal “weight” setting by turning the dial above the MAGVEL CLAMP. The torque level will increase or decrease to make the record feel lighter or heavier, without needing to change or adjust felts or slip mats.

Performance Pads and OLED Screen for Precise and Quick Control

The PLX-CRSS12 inherits the presentation elements of traditional turntables but adds 4 integrated MIDI assignable Performance Pads, so all your favorite functions are at your fingertips. The pads are placed exactly where you need them: just below the platter, allowing you to trigger Hot Cues and samples faster than ever before – especially useful if you’re playing on a mixer without pads.

The built-in OLED screen also helps you stay focused on the turntable. You can keep an eye on the tempo range and key while adjusting pitch in analog (Analog) or digital (Digital Vinyl) mode. When in Digital Vinyl mode, you can reference BPM, key, turntable number, and the name of the software you’re using.

Advanced High-Quality Sound

A switching power supply is used to eliminate flux leaks, transformer power supply vibrations, and noise, providing high-resolution sound quality. Like the PLX-1000, the upper part of the chassis is made of die-cast zinc under high pressure, and the lower part is made of 8mm thick resin to optimize chassis structure and anti-vibration materials. Rubber tubes inside the tonearm further improve vibration control compared to the PLX-1000. The RCA terminals are also gold-plated components, like those of the PLX-1000, and the phono signal is directly transmitted to the plug via a stable connection to reproduce the warmth of analog records while benefiting from high-quality sound.

Other Features

• Replaceable MAGVEL CLAMP: Additional clamps are available for purchase if you want to bring your own set of clamps with you or need to replace a lost clamp. And you can neatly store the MAGVEL CLAMP in a designated place on top of the turntable.
• Robust and Elegant Design, in Matte Black Color: The PLX-CRSS12 is matte black, with special coatings on the tonearm and other metal parts, as well as carefully crafted details that give it both a sturdy and elegant appearance.
• Compatible with Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox: The PLX-CRSS12 is compatible with Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox. By connecting the turntable to a PC/Mac equipped with one of these DJ software, and to a mixer supporting the corresponding software’s DVS function, you can start mixing in Digital Vinyl mode and use the Performance Pads.
