The BX3D3D3 is a compact monitor speaker, the heir to the popular BX5 and BX8 developed by M-Audio and found in many amateur and professional studios. They offer the ultimate in today’s technology at an affordable price. Its 3.5″ black Kevlar military grade speaker and computer-optimized 1″ natural silk dome tweeter deliver 120 watts of crystal-clear sound with an impressive stereo image. Its bass-reflex design, with a rear port and an acoustically neutral MDF cabinet, ensures an extended low-frequency response and full frequency response across the entire spectrum.The BX3D3 features a cleverly designed control interface on the back of the speaker, allowing everyone to adjust the sound to suit their space and application, and to connect any computer, mobile device or multimedia system. The High and Low EQ settings allow you to adjust the sound for each listening environment, while the active speaker position switch allows you to adjust its positioning between right and left. Connections on the back of the speaker include a jack, minijack and RCA input. In addition, the BX3D3 features a front panel minijack auxiliary and headphone input for your tablet, computer or mobile device, offering maximum compatibility.These new audio monitors come with an ideal software suite for easy podcasting, live streaming and music recording. M-Audio has partnered with Avid to create a special version of Pro Tools, a true standard in audio recording, called Pro Tools | First M-Audio Edition. M-Audio also includes 20 Avid effects plug-ins to help users record, mix, and edit any audio project.
