IBANEZ Iceman IC420FM VLS solid body electric guitar is the reinterpretation of the paul Stanley’s iconic model. It can be compared to a Gibson© Explorer© sonically wise. Okoume body, three pieces Ooume set-neck with 22 frets Jatoba fretboard (24.75″ scale), Ibanez Super 80 humbucking pickups (passive, ceramic magnets) and Ibanez bridge.Used during decades in boat and airplane building, west african native Okoume is a great low density tonewood for electric guitars (John Suhr has been using it for many years). Sonically, it can be considered as Mahogany with a brighter high end and more dynamic range, improving the clarity of the guitar. Fingerboard is made of Brazilian Cherry / Jatoba. It is a tonewood very similar to Pau Ferro. Its warm tone is tempered by a snappy attack. In between Rosewood and Maple.
