STEINBERGER XT-2 Standard Bass (XTSTD4BK1) 4-string solid body electric bass is one of the ultimate Travel Bass, featuring the revolutionary Steinberger body design (Poplar and 3 pieces Maple neck-thru), patented DoubleBall™ Bass Bridge, Patented 40:1 Ratio Direct-Pull tuning system, powerful Steinberger HB pickups, plus a deluxe gigbag. The XT-2 Standard Electric Bass Outfit features the revolutionary Steinberger Bass design with a Poplar body and 3-piece Hard Maple neck that together resonate as a single piece of wood. For traveling musicians, the XT-2 is the Ultimate Travel Bass™. At 38.5” long and only 7.5lbs, its ergonomic design makes it easy to take anywhere including overhead airline compartments.The XT-2 isn’t as sensitive to temperature changes, virtually indestructible ! The neck has a comfortable 1960’s style SlimTaper™-D profile, 24 medium jumbo frets, a 34” scale length, and a 14” radius. A folding leg rest sits compactly on the lower bout of the body. A deluxe padded gigbag is included. An optional hard case is also available.
