7-String version of our most popular overwound Strat single coil pickup with oval flatwork and a modern pole stagger. The Custom Staggered is a specially overwound single coil that strikes the perfect balance between increased output and bouncy Stratocaster tonal character. It will deliver bigger, fatter chords, and will cut through the mix more clearly than a traditional Strat pickup, without losing the sparkle that makes a Strat sound so unique. Single notes will be punchy and loud, and your solos will really sing. For the 7-string model, we use a special pole stagger for improved string balance and sustain. Comes with a black cover.The bobbins are hand built, using modern oval Forbon flatwork, a medium-hot coil wind, and hand ground alnico 5 rod magnets. Every pickup is wax potted for squeal free performance.
