The BROWNIE MINI CORE DISTORTION is a pedal offered by the Nux brand.The Brownie Distortion mini pedal delivers the famous sounds of the stacks of British all-tube amps from the 70s and 80s that conquered major stadium concerts. These British amp heads and their numerous speakers were modified at the time to push the gain level even further and bring out the guitar heroes’ wild solos from the mix! These “hot-rod” amp heads deliver powerful, warm and cutting distortions that founded the first hard-rock and metal anthems.The Nux Brownie Distortion recreates the preamp and power section of this “Brown Sound” with hybrid circuits reproducing asymmetrical clipping characteristic of these tube amps. This makes it possible to keep low frequencies tight and defined even with a lot of gain, for a powerful and precise sound reproduction at the same time.
