The E609 is a dynamic instrument microphone.The Sennheiser e609 microphone is a dynamic, super-cardioid patterned model designed for miking bass and guitar amps. Supporting high levels of acoustic pressure it is used for close miking, and could also be used for acoustic drum miking.
