The Midimix is a MIDI controller offered by Akai.

Main features of the Midimix

• This product features 8 linear faders, as well as 3 knobs per channel, giving you a total of 24 rotary controls.
• It is automatically mapped for Ableton Live (Ableton Live Lite software provided) to enhance your performances.
• Combining simplicity and efficiency, the new AKAI Professional MIDIMIX control surface adopts the configuration of a traditional mixing table. The user can send all the information from their mix to their DAW by pressing a single button for total and precise control over the main functions and options of their software.

The Midimix retains the classic Akai look. The top face is black and the bottom face is red. The buttons offer a soft touch. They are equipped with an integrated LED that allows them to be quickly identified even when lighting conditions are unfavorable. The device stays securely in place on any surface thanks to the rubber feet underneath; it won’t move from its assigned position. The Kensington MiniSaver slot provides additional physical security. The free software editor allows each control element to be individually configured. All settings can then be saved and recalled at any time. You can even save a preset directly in the device to retain the same assignments from one computer to another.

The MIDIMIX allows real-time manipulation and control of projects to provide artists with total creative freedom.
