The SIGMA 1 Series DMC-1E is an acoustic/electric Dreadnought cutaway guitar, featuring solid Sitka Spruce top, layered Mahogany back/sides/neck and Micarta fretboard. Micarta, a composite of linen, canvas, paper, fiberglass and carbon fiber, sounds close to Ebony. Its preamp is a popular Fishman Presys II with integrated tuner.
