Designed for A-E-B-F# tuning, the Kaplan Solo Bass set delivers the exceptional bow response and tonal balance of the Kaplan Orchestral set, along with the additional projection and clarity needed for soloistic playing. The strings are balanced across the set, allowing players to achieve precise articulation and clarity without sacrificing volume or beauty of tone.

Scaled to fit 3/4 size bass with a playing length of 41 3/4 inches (1060mm), medium tension strings are optimized for a majority of players.
