On such an evening, one tribe abducts a young man from a neighboring tribe to sacrifice, proving loyalty to their ancestors. The dancing to elder’s high-pitched shouts inflames the crowd as the enthusiasm builds to a climax. The victim envisions the folk songs of his home, the scenery of the village, the memories of his childhood and the faces of his kind parents that flash by. The ritual for the ancestors continues tirelessly until dawn with more intensity, raising the expectations of the crowd to the climax of their fateful task at sunrise.
